Henna Craft At WOMADelaide 2008

Heat, Dust, Rain or Wind nothing stops us from having fun at WOMADelaide. The three -day world music, arts and dance festival weekend brings together people of all ages to enjoy and relax in the lush green Botanic Parks in Adelaide. The whole park feels alive with the colors of life.
This year the temperature was so HOT and it got a bit too dusty on the last day but still the Magical Energy in the atmosphere kept everyone calm and happy. I was one of the lucky people to have had a stall under a huge tree, which gave us alot of shade for people to just sit around and Relax. Luckily we could hear the music in the air, from stage three which made us think we weren’t missing out on the performances too !!!
I was surrounded by some very patient people, wanting to experience the magic of my Henna. This year I painted about 600 people on my own over three days. I had a wonderful team working with me, who truly made my time at womad amazingly entertaining and extremely fun !! Thank you so much !!

I hope My Henna made each soul I have touched before, during and after womad feel very Special, Alive and Wonderfully Gifted.thank you for crossing paths with me and sharing with me the moments of friendship. I pray everyone enjoyed my work as much as I enjoyed doing it !!

Hi I am the one of the lucky people who got your henna work at WOMAD. If you remember I am the one listening to Brazilian band over the fence (like in a jail).
I got your work in past WOMAD and at your shop too and everytime I have them, I am so happy. Your Henna feed my soul really well. Thank you so much.
I am teaching Japanese at primary school and after the WOMAD, every single class interested in your work on my hand and I told story about Henna. So now 550 children in my school all know about henna from Japanese class!
If you ever come to Melbourne for any event or whatever, I love to know about it. You are always welcome to stay my place too ![]()
